Aktia Non-Life Insurance Company Group Streamlines its Claims processes with new Insurance Platform from Mantacore

Mantacore has signed an agreement with Aktia Non-Life Insurance Company Group concerning delivery and deployment of FlexSure™.

Aktia Group offers a broad range of solutions within banking, asset management, insurance and real estate for the Finnish market. The group has about 350,000 customers served by some seventy offices and via the Internet and telephone.

Aktia has until now been relying on an outdated claims adjustment support system. At the same time they had high ambitions in terms of developing their internal processes in a way that requires a switch to a modern system with integration abilities with other applications.

With the aim to modernize and streamline their claims adjustment processes related to present product lines eg. Motor, House, Home, Life, Yachts, Animals etc and to lay the ground for easy future adoptions to new business requirements, Aktia launched a tender for a new insurance system. The tender was won by Mantacore in competition with several international suppliers.

"FlexSure meets our needs in all essential parts, it is user friendly, flexible and easy to integrate with other systems," said Patrik Nordman, Director Claims & Legal Affairs at Aktia.

"We have high expectations when it comes to making our claims administration processes more efficient. We expect to deliver compensation decisions more quickly than before and to be able to handle an increasing number of claims with existing head-count, and to improve the service and support to our customers. Moreover, we see an enormous potential in FlexSure as a tool for development and management of future insurance products".

"For Mantacore it is a strategic success to achieve this foothold on the Finnish market with a reputable insurance group," said Finn Oskarsson, CEO of Mantacore.
